Nodes Survivors

Welcome to the world of Nodes-Survivors, a riveting 2D top-down rogue-lite game that fuses medieval fantasy with pixel art aesthetics. The key to survival here is adaptability, as you engage with relentless waves of enemies, develop your own unique skills each run, and upgrade your character progressively.

Venture from the central hub town, choosing your character and exploring levels through a mystical portal. Each level constitutes a ‘run’ and resets upon completion, even the character’s skills and abilities. Face the enemy hordes that appear in waves, gather experience (XP) gems they leave behind, and use these gems to level up.

Each level up presents a choice of a new node from a random selection, which is then added to your node inventory. The nodes play a vital role in the game as they shape your skills within the skill editor. This graph-like editor offers a wide range of customization, allowing you to modify and adapt your skills as you progress through the game.

Leveling up enables the choice of new nodes (abilities) from random options, which can be interconnected in the skill editor, crafting intricate abilities. The blacksmith in the town helps in stat upgrades. From Health to Gold Gain, and Magnet Range, there are multiple stats to improve using the collected gold.

Choose from three (initially) unique characters: The Sorcerer, The Druid, and The Bard, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Their traits can provide game-changing advantages, like "+2 Damage for each skill node" for the Sorcerer.

The node system defines the Skills and Nodes, dividing them into various categories such as Base Skill Nodes, Secondary Skill Nodes, Aux Nodes, Cast Nodes, Elemental Nodes, Quantity Nodes, and Stat Nodes. These nodes not only shape your character's abilities but also offer a vast array of strategies for tackling levels.
